I'm excited to collaborate with one of my favorite scrapple-slinging restaurants, Down Home Diner, for a fun-filled book signing on Friday, June 15, 10 a.m.–noon. (For all who have picked up a copy of the book, the restaurant's story is embedded within some of my pages.)

Together, along with Reading Terminal Market neighbor, PA General Store, we'll be hosting a book signing at the restaurant itself. Come by for your copy of "Pennsylvania Scrapple: A Delectable History," or treat your taste buds to samples of Down Home's scrapple fries served with PA General Store's perfect trio of condiments: whiskey barrel-aged maple syrup, apple butter and mustard. Even more fun is that the store will be sampling their chocolate scrapple, and what could be more fun than that?!

Additionally, come by to enter our scrapple raffle! The gift basket will featured a signed copy of my book, plus other accompaniments to make all your scrapple dreams come true!

Come hungry—& stay for breakfast and/or lunch (trust me—they're the city's pros on cooking scrapple & the rest of their menu is as enjoyable).

Down Home Diner is located within the Reading Terminal Market, at 51 N. 12th St. in Center City Philadelphia. (RSVP to the signing via Facebook)
