I am excited to partner with The Row House Forum to partner with Dr. Steven M. Nolt to discuss “Pennsylvania Germans: The Original Immigrants.” The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Trust Performing Arts Center in Lancaster.
Steven Nolt is Senior Scholar at the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies and Professor of History and Anabaptist Studies at Elizabethtown College. He’ll lead the night’s main lecture with a discussion about my very own book, “Pennsylvania Scrapple: A Delectable History,” kicking off the night. I’ll also be on-site throughout the event selling and signing copies of the aforementioned book.
Evening will be complete with a scrapple tasting and all the glorious aroma that goes with that (coffee included).
Cost is $10 in advance; $15 at door. Tickets here.
Event unfolds at the historic Trust Performing Arts Center, found at 37 N. Market St. in Lancaster, Pa.
